During the demonstrations on March 29th, plastic bullets were fired at the protesters IN SPAIN, along with tear gas and violence from the police.
At 6:00pm the following day, we met in front of the Spanish Embassy, to show our solidarity to the citizens of Spain. The embassy was surrounded by special police forces, too many for a place next to the Acropolis.
The officer in charge was polite, in contrast to the provoking thugs of the lower level militia of the police, who mocked and ridiculed the action and the message.
How pathetic for undergraduate gorillas to provoke the people they are sworn to protect! These are not my countrymen! They are Roman legions of occupation and will be treated as such. We will meet again with them, in better circumstances.
For the time being, HANG ON SPANIARDS.”
