Beyond being shelter, the Dome is a work of art… destroyed by police without due prior warning and with violence and cowardliness.

During the night of Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 November, 2011, at approximately 3 AM, police again attacked the Indignés’ camp at La Défense.
While the camp was sleeping peacefully, a number of police officers (some in plainclothes) entered the camp, beating several persons for no real reason, then destroyed the Dome that had been erected the previous evening.
One of the occupiers in the camp was injured; he sustained a broken arm.
Those present pointed out that police intervened in a much more violent manner than during previous raids…
